Event Support

Overview

The Melbourne Disability Institute (MDI) is committed to supporting the sharing of disability research findings, exchange of knowledge and bringing people together.

The Event Funding scheme provides up to $2,000 of financial support for small-medium events such as public seminars, workshops, round table discussions, or (where relevant) launches or social events. Funding can be used for accessibility, venue hire, catering or other associated costs. For large events please contact the MDI team to discuss your idea.

The MDI looks forward to supporting events that bring together academics, people with disability and the disability sector to raise awareness or discuss priority issues related to disability or share research findings.
