Policy and Practice Advice

MDI can help facilitate the interaction between research and implementation to identify the aims, stakeholders, main messages, and strategies to best deliver policy and practice innovation and improvements for people with disability, their families and carers.

Applied disability research aims to influence practice yet research results often do not reach, or take a long time to filter through to, those who use and those who deliver services.

MDI can help you come up with a knowledge translation framework and plan to  assist with the uptake of research evidence in the disability sector.

Contact Tessa de Vries at Tessa.devries@unimelb.edu.au for an initial conversation or to schedule an appointment with one of MDI's policy experts.
