The Alliance for Neonatal Critical Care is calling for extended paid parental leave for families with a baby in hospital for more than two weeks. Improved legislation to support these families with an additional special leave entitlement for the hospital period will reduce separation and also assist with more women returning to the workforce when they are ready.

Families can get involved by writing a letter, sharing their story, posting on social media, and adding their voices to the call for better support for parents and carers of hospitalised babies.
For Healthcare Professionals and/or Organisations
