The Healthy Trajectories research hub is focused on building consumer-partnered/led, inter-disciplinary and inter-sectoral research to address the needs of those with child-onset disability and their families. Our research aims to progress the vision that that all children and youth, whose lives are complicated by disability, have the best chance of reaching their full potential for health and participation across the life span.
Healthy Trajectories is currently inviting proposals for its 2022 Seed Funding Round with grants of between $20,000 and $30,000 on offer for University of Melbourne research projects. Projects must be completed by the end of December 2023, with final reports due within six months of project completion.
The purpose of this seed funding is to support small to medium sized projects that will either provide early exploratory / pilot data or contribute to building momentum in a program of work, and lead to external funding success or other sustainability outcomes.
Thank you to everyone who joined one of our seed funding information sessions (held 28 July and 3 August). If you were unable to join and would like more information, please take a moment to view our recording below. The video provides information about the Healthy Trajectories Child and Youth Disability Research Hub and the seed funding opportunity on offer.
Please note, it is highly recommended that prior to applying, you either attend one of the information sessions or watch the video. If you have any questions about the application process or want to discuss your project proposal, please contact Professor Christine Imms (Hub Director) or Ms Georgie Rose (Hub Coordinator) at firstname.lastname@example.org.
